Middleburg, Va. – Jan. 7, 2019 – Rutledge Farm is excited to announce that it has opened its doors to become the new home of TuDane Farm, a top-notch training and competition program based out of Middleburg, Virginia. The team at TuDane Farm is grateful for the opportunity to base out of Rutledge Farm’s premier facility and is looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for them.
Jonelle Mullen, head trainer and manager of TuDane Farm, has been involved in the equestrian community since she was a child. Mullen was trained by her mother, Tracy Mullen, who is also the assistant trainer at TuDane Farm. After her involvement in the 4-H and Pony Club in her early riding career, she shifted her focus to hunt seat equitation, qualifying for Medal, Maclay, and USET Finals as a junior. Mullen graduated from Cornell University, and after pursuing a career in marketing, she decided to start her own business to return to her equestrian pursuits full-time.
“We decided to move to Rutledge Farm because it is obviously a top show facility with great footing, beautiful barns, and one of our primary reasons was the really great turnout paddocks,” Mullen said. ” The footing is great and they’ve been nothing but welcoming and helpful in our move, so it’s going great so far. Things are working out and the staff is happy. The horses seem really happy, too.”
TuDane Farm is a private equine and equestrian training program for those interested in showing hunters, jumpers, and equitation. Whether you’re starting out in the short stirrup or showing at the national hunter and equitation finals, students of all levels can benefit from the TuDane Farm program. Each client receives personalized attention to bring out the most from each horse and rider to ensure that the riders’ goals are achieved.
Mullen continued, “Thanks to Aleco and Sandra Bravo-Greenberg for giving us this opportunity to move to their place. My customers are all really excited. There is not really any comparison to anything where we have ever been to Rutledge. It’s a top-notch, beautiful place.”
