Marcus Fyffe Dressage Celebrates Successful 2018 Show Season

Wellington, Fla. – Dec. 26, 2018 – Following the 2018 show season in Wellington, the team at Marcus Fyffe Dressage had a standout year traveling to symposiums, competing in local nationally-rated shows and gearing up for an exciting 2019 Adequan Global Dressage Festival.

One of the highlight events of the year for Marcus Fyffe Dressage was their inaugural two-day symposium hosted by Albion College on Oct. 27-28, 2018. While routinely traveling the country separately for clinics, this event was the first time Olympian David Marcus and international Grand Prix competitor Nicholas Fyffe could combine training efforts outside of their base in Wellington to bring a co-instructed symposium to students. The symposium received rave reviews and the two trainers are looking forward to teaching more symposiums together in the future.

“We have had a wonderful year – from strong development in training to our many talented sales horses finding new homes,” Marcus said. “We were also thrilled to welcome KEP Italia to our support network! To all of our sponsors, thank you for your continued support, as we could not continue to evolve and succeed in the show ring without you as valued members of Marcus Fyffe Dressage.”

Following hugely successful spring and summer show seasons, the Marcus Fyffe Dressage team went into the fall focused on fine-tuning their skills in preparation for the upcoming Wellington season. Everyone was thrilled to cheer on Fyffe as he rode his PRE stallion Fiero HGF down centerline for a stellar Grand Prix test in October. The team kicked it up a notch in the last two national competitions, where Marcus returned to the show ring on his talented upper-level mount, Dean Martin, to win a Grand Prix class with a 70.9 percent.

Thanks to the success of the Marcus Fyffe Dressage sales program this year, Marcus and Fyffe have been happy to pair many talented horses with riders who will continue to foster their skills and develop them as high-level mounts. Because of this, they are excited to share that very limited openings in their stable will be available after the first of the year.

“We are so proud of everyone on our team, and happy to have such a supportive group of students, staff and sponsors,” Fyffe said. “We are feeling excited and motivated as we close out our year and head into 2019.”
