Horse & Country TV Continues Live Coverage of Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping at Spruce Meadows

London, U.K. – Sept. 7, 2018 – The five-day Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ CSIO5* tournament (Sept. 5–9) attracts the biggest names in the sport of show jumping, hoping for a slice of the huge 4.1 million Canadian dollars prize money, and the main event, the CP International Grand Prix CSI5*, presented by Rolex, on Sunday, Sept. 9, will be broadcasted on Horse & Country TV (H&C TV).

Join H&C TV to watch the CP International Grand Prix CSI5*, presented by Rolex, LIVE at 7 p.m. EST on Sept. 9. You can also watch the class as-live on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 9 p.m. EST.

The CP International Grand Prix CSI5*, presented by Rolex, is the third leg of the 2018 Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping — the toughest series in show jumping offering one of the biggest prizes in the sport with a €1 million bonus going to any athlete who can consecutively win three grand prix events at the Dutch Masters, Aachen, Spruce Meadows and CHI Geneva. If that same athlete then wins a fourth major in succession, they win an additional €1 million bonus prize.

Germany’s Marcus Ehning is the current contender after winning the Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* at the CHIO Aachen World Equestrian Festival in July. Also hoping to take the title in Canada is fellow German Philipp Weishaupt, who won the prestigious grand prix at Spruce Meadows in 2017.

They will be up against the best athletes from all around the world, including Great Britain’s Scott Brash, who has an impressive record at the Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ CSIO5* tournament, having won the grand prix in both 2015 and 2016. Brash is in great form following his recent win in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of London CSI5*.

Other athletes confirmed to compete include Maikel van der Vleuten, Abdel Said, Luciana Diniz, Lorenzo de Luca and Eric Lamaze, who won the event on home turf in 2007 and 2011.
