Wellington, Fla., Dec. 19, 2016 – What do an Olympic equestrian, an on-air personality and a state attorney, all have in common? Peter Wylde, Roxanna Cella and Dave Aronberg are all strong supporters of Horses Healing Hearts and serve as honorary chairs for its largest annual fundraiser, the White, White West Party.
HHH is honored to have Wylde, Cella and Aronberg return to serve as the honorary chairs for its sixth annual event, which will be hosted at the all new Wellington National Golf Club on Friday, February 24, 2017.
“I’m very much looking forward to it,” said Wylde, an Olympic gold medalist. “It’s a great cause, that goes without saying. It’s a fun party, the food is great, there’s live music and my favorite part is the silent auction. It’s incredible; there are so many great items.”
Aronberg, Cella and Wylde understand the critical need for the program HHH provides.
“I see these kinds of cases all too often and realize that programs like Horses Healing Hearts are key to stopping the cycle of pain,” said Aronberg, the Florida State Attorney serving Palm Beach County.
Wylde shared, “I love the notion that those of us who have had a lot of experiences in the horse world and life in general can provide help. Horses Healing Hearts is just another way we can give back to the community and fulfill our responsibility as humans to helps others.”
Wylde became aware of the organization through its founder, Liz Olszewski, and has been an integral part ever since they met.
Cella continued, “All of us at Palm Beach Rox are grateful for all that Liz [Olszewski] does for our children and our society.”
“Liz [Olszewski] is a great leader and spokesperson for her organization because she’s so passionate about it,” Wylde added. “After speaking with her about the importance of this program, already I was sold, but when I went to one of the afternoon sessions with the kids and listened to them talk and interact with the horses, I was all in. This program is so necessary and helpful for kids to give them chances and opportunities.”
