Cherry Knoll Farm Proudly Supports National Horse Show Initiatives

Lexington, Ky. – Nov. 1, 2018 – Margaret H. Duprey is proud to return to the prestigious National Horse Show this year as sponsor of the popular Cherry Knoll Farm Grooms Award. The award will be presented to the top three grooms of the winners of the $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington CSI4*-W on Saturday evening with cash prizes totaling $5,000.

“Grooms play such an integral role and are valuable members of every high-performance team,” Duprey explained. “We have supported the National Horse Show for many years and it is an honor to recognize grooms’ commitment to excellence.”

Founded in 1883, the National Horse Show is the culmination of the year’s equestrian season. With $845,000 in prize money offered, the National Horse Show has been designated a CSI4*-W event by the FEI. This year, the National Horse Show offered new equitation championships, including the Hamel Foundation National Horse Show 3’3″ Equitation Championship, the Taylor Harris Insurance Services National Horse Show Adult Equitation Championship and the Boggs Hill National Horse Show KHJA Equitation Championship. In addition, the National Horse Show will feature a $50,000 Hunter Classic, which joins an impressive lineup of weekend events including the ASPCA Maclay National Championship, presented by Chansonette Farm, the Hollow Brook Wealth Management Show Jumping Hall of Fame series championship and the world-renowned $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington CSI4*-W.

In addition to their grooms awards, Cherry Knoll Farm will also be the title sponsor of the highly anticipated exhibitors’ party, which will take place Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa following the $250,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Lexington CSI4*-W. The event will be open to riders, trainers, owners and sponsors to celebrate together after the evening’s exciting grand prix competition.

“The tradition and world-class performances at the National Horse Show sets it apart as one of our favorite competitions each year,” Duprey said. “Adding to the excitement is our World Equestrian Games gold medal athletes, McLain Ward, Adrienne Sternlicht, Laura Kraut, Devin Ryan and Beezie Madden, who will all be competing in the Alltech Arena this year.”
