Cherry Knoll Farm Leaves North American International Livestock Exposition With Top Ribbons

Louisville, Ky. – Nov. 17, 2017 – Even though the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) is the largest all-breed, purebred livestock competition in the world with over 30,000 entries, Cherry Knoll Farm stood out in the crowd with their high-quality Angus cattle.

The highlight of the weekend was when Austin Nowatzke showed Cherry Knoll Wendy 1761 and was awarded Spring Heifer Calf Champion.

In addition to a champion title, Cherry Knoll Farm headed back to West Grove, Pennsylvania, from Louisville, Kentucky, with top ribbons from various classes. Wilmer Hostetter owns Cherry Knoll Brennen 1609 and they placed first in their class, while Cailey Dahlquist and Cherry Knoll Elisha 1732 won their class as well.

The success continued for Cherry Knoll Farm with Claudia Hissong showing Cherry Knoll Ark Pride 1627 to second place in their class. Kathryn Coleman and Cherry Knoll Elsa earned third place in their class and Cherry Knoll Elisha 1771 was shown to a fourth place finish by Michael Butz.

“We showed against operations that breed and sell hundreds and thousands of cattle every year,” Cherry Knoll Farm cattle manager Tim Fitzgerald said. “The success we had during the North American International Livestock Exposition speaks to the quality of our cattle, and I am very proud of our juniors and the hard work they put into showing day in and day out.”

The Cherry Knoll Farm operation is managed utilizing time-proven beef cattle production practices combined with progressive genetics and technology. Unbeatable customer service and a reputation for honesty and integrity complete the Cherry Knoll brand.
