CaptiveOne Advisors LLC Congratulates Beezie Madden on $210,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – New York CSI4*-W Victory at American Gold Cup

North Salem, N.Y. – Sept. 20, 2019 – CaptiveOne Advisors LLC would like to congratulate Beezie Madden on her recent victory in the $210,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ – New York CSI4*-W, presented by CaptiveOne Advisors LLC, at the 2019 American Gold Cup.

Beezie Madden and Garant
Known as one of the United States’ most successful show jumping athletes, Madden rode Garant to the win on Sunday, Sept. 15, to receive the top honors and lion’s share of the prize money in the highlight event of the week, during which CaptiveOne Advisors was the proud title sponsor. The win marked her third victory in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ at the American Gold Cup alone, with the first two occuring in 1989 and 2010, and added to her collection of high-profile wins within the past few months. The four-time Olympic medalist holds an extensive list of impressive titles for the United States, including two Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final wins.
Following the conclusion of Sunday’s highlight event, CaptiveOne Advisors LLC presented the coveted CaptiveOne Advisors™ $15,000 Leading Rider Bonus to Irish rider Shane Sweetnam. The award went to Sweetnam for consistently earning the best results throughout the week, thus acquiring the most points in contest offering $25,000 or more in prize money. Sweetnam claimed top finishes in a number of classes, including first prize in the $75,000 American Gold Cup Qualifier CSI4* aboard Chaqui Z, in addition to fourth place riding Alejandro in the $71,200 Fidelity Investments® Classic CSI4* and sixth place with Kirschwasser SCF in the $35,700 Staller Welcome Stake at the American Gold Cup.
CaptiveOne Advisors LLC also spearheaded the “Clear for a Cause” campaign during the World Cup class on Sunday. JustWorld International supports education and nutrition programs for children in need all around the world, partnering with organizations in Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras and the United States to provide the opportunity for equestrians and individuals to join together and contribute to a global campaign against poverty. CaptiveOne donated $250 to JustWorld International every time a horse-and-athlete combination cleared both the JustWorld and CaptiveOne fences in their round. A total of $7,000 was raised in the CaptiveOne Advisors “Clear for a Cause” campaign thanks to the efforts put forth by all of the competitors.
“I am thrilled to be part of [the American Gold Cup]. It was our first year with Gold Cup and Morrissey Management is an amazing group to work with,” said Wayne Jenkins, founder and managing member for CaptiveOne Advisors LLC. “We had a number of guests and they walked the course and really became interested in the sport – I think that’s what we’re trying to do is promote the sport and be involved at the highest level. Thank you for the opportunity and thank you to Matt [Morrissey] for allowing us to join you.”
