Luhmühlen, Germany – June 14, 2018 – The premier international multi-screen network for equestrian sports and lifestyle, Horse & Country TV (H&C TV), is pleased to announce that it will host an exclusive livestream from both the 3* and 4* cross-country contests at the prestigious Luhmühlen CCI4* event this year. Cross-country day is Saturday, June 16, with the 4* cross-country event kicking off live at 2:45 a.m. EST. The 3* cross-country event will follow, broadcasting live at 7:45 a.m. EST. Both livestreams will also come with expert commentary.

Three American athletes will be competing during this weekend’s event in Germany, which runs from June 14–17, including Boyd Martin (riding Shamwari in the 4*), Elisabeth Halliday-Sharp (on Deniro Z in the 4*) and Woods Baughman, who will ride Maverick Mcnamara in the 3* competition.

With everyone looking ahead to the upcoming FEI World Equestrian Games™ in September, other top athletes set to compete this weekend are Germany’s Sandra Auffarth, Andreas Dibowski, Bettina Hoy, Ingrid Klimke and Julia Krajewski as well as British athletes Laura Collett, Tina Cook, Nicola Wilson, Kitty King and Pippa Funnell.

Athletes are particularly keen to get a flavor of this famous course as Luhmühlen is set to be the venue for next year’s FEI European Eventing Championships, taking place Aug. 28–Sept. 1, 2019.

The stream will also be available for subscribers to watch on demand after the event on H&C TV’s website, while an exclusive hour-long highlights show from Luhmühlen will be featured on the main channel on Sunday, June 24, at 9:30 p.m. EST. This program will also be available on demand online after it has aired.
