Colvin’s Always Shows Off Versatility With Titles in Both Rings
Victoria Colvin, LLC’s gelding Always proved that his prowess in both the hunter and jumper disciplines during GLEF, with wins in both rings. During GLEF Week I, Colvin rode Always to a win in a 5-Year-Old Young Jumpers class, and the pair were later crowned champions in the 3’3″ Performance Working Hunters during GLEF Week IV.
Strong Week I Performance for Colvin in the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby
To kick off GLEF during its first week of competition, Colvin piloted Pitch Perfect, owned by Adele Norton, to second place and Harper Lee, owned by Laura Karet, to third place in the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. The 19-year-old professional racked in another top placing aboard Karet’s Caliber, finishing in sixth position.
Victoria Colvin, LLC Joins Forces with George Morris
Colvin teamed up with world-renowned trainer George H. Morris during her time in Traverse City, riding GHM Showjumpers, LLC’s Chagrand to multiple clear rounds in the 1.35m and 1.30m jumpers over the course of four weeks.
