Nayel Nassar – champion of 2018 AIG $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS Thermal and 2013 Zoetis $1 Million Grand Prix at HITS Saugerties

“I’m really excited about it! I think Ali [Nilforushan] has a great vision for what he wants to do. This is obviously the first year, so I want to help support it the best way I can. I think he’s trying to provide some change and a bit of a newer experience for riders, and he really does have a great vision and has been working hard on making something special and different. I want to get behind him so he feels supported and continues to put forth the effort in shows like this one for years to come.”

Mandy Porter – ACP Enterprises (Encinitas, Calif.)

“Offering the free young horse classes are a big incentive. Many of our clients are very excited about those classes to help offset costs, and it encourages them to go to more shows. That is huge, to be able to take young horses and get them more experience. Plus, the new venue is very exciting. As exhibitors, it is really good for us to have a variety of different venues to compete at with our horses. The success of the National Sunshine Series shows put on by Ali before in the desert makes us excited and enthusiastic for what he is going to do for this show, the exhibitors and the sport in general. A huge thank you to him and Francie [Nilforushan] for undertaking this huge endeavor.”

John French – Waldenbrook Farm (Templeton, Calif.)

“I am really excited about the management team of these new horse shows! As competitors themselves, they are already listening to what exhibitors feel will make horse showing a better experience for everyone. It is refreshing to see a show manager so invested.”

Hope Glynn – Sonoma Valley Stables (Petaluma, Calif.)

“I’m really looking forward to a show where the management is all about making a great event for both horses and riders, as well as an overall great time. My clients are excited to go to a horse show and actually feel like they took a vacation, as well.”

Susie Hutchison – Susan Hutchison Stables (Temecula, Calif.)

“I actually live in Temecula and my business is in Temecula. I’ve been here for about 15 years and I love it. I just drove by Galway Downs the other day and they put in a beautiful new grand prix ring and a beautiful second ring for the lower classes. Galway Downs is such a wonderful venue – there has even been three World Cup qualifiers for three-day eventing held there in the past. Plus, there are great things to do around town, like golf courses and wineries. I think we’re all looking forward to somewhere new and refreshing.”

Archie Cox – Brookway Stables (Sylmar, Calif.)

“Ali always offers some new and creative types of classes and tries to do it with style, and I’m confident that we’ll have a great time. Plus, we are very excited to be going back to a renovated Galway Downs. It’s a beautiful venue at the heart of Temecula wine country and I know quite a lot of improvements have been made to the facility. We look forward to having another horse show venue to attend.”
