Prize List Now Available Online!

Upperville, Va. – April 1, 2019 – The prize list for the 2019 Upperville Colt & Horse Show (UCHS), presented by St. Bride’s Farm, is now available online. The annual event will take place Monday, June 3, through Sunday, June 9, at the Grafton and Salem Farm showgrounds. 2019 UCHS Prize List

The Upperville Colt & Horse Show, a FEI-ranked CSI4* event, attracts hundreds of world-class equestrians who compete in disciplines ranging from show jumping, hunters and equitation to local ponies, in-hand breeding, sidesaddle and racing Jack Russell Terriers. In addition to its CSI4* designation, the competition also boasts a Premier/AA and Jumper Rating Six classification with US Equestrian (USEF), the Virginia Horse Shows Association (VHSA) and the Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA) and is a World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) recognized show.

New for 2019, the UCHS will offer increased prize money in the Small, Medium and Large Pony Hunter divisions as well as in the $71,200 Welcome Stakes CSI4*, presented by the World Equestrian Center, set to take place on Friday, June 7.

The 2019 UCHS will culminate with the highlight event, the $208,200 Upperville Jumper Classic CSI4*, presented by Lugano Diamonds, on the final day. Other feature classes throughout the week will include the $30,000 Upperville National Grand Prix, presented by the Palm Beach Masters Series, on Thursday, June 6, as well as the $35,700 Upperville Speed Stakes CSI4*, presented by GW & Wade, and the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, sponsored by Salamander Resort & Spa, on Saturday, June 8.

In addition, there have been a number of facility improvements in order to better accommodate exhibitors, horses and guests, including the expansion of Jumper Ring II, improved footing in the FEI and warm-up jumper rings and upgraded road and vendor areas on both the hunter and jumper sides of the showgrounds.

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the 166th UCHS! Entries open on April 1 and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Entries are logged when they are received NOT when they are postmarked. The deadline for entries is May 10. Late entries may be accepted with a late fee charge if stall space is available.

Entry forms for the 2019 UCHS can be found here and entries may be submitted online via HorseShowsOnline™‘s streamlined entry system. The 2018 UCHS was a complete sell-out so be sure to submit your entries as soon as possible starting on April 1 to ensure acceptance.
