Bufflao, Ny. – March 14, 2017 – SBS Farms’ clients continued their winning ways during the HITS VIII Ocala Winter Finals. Kathy Chiaf and Molly Gfroerer are no strangers to the winners circle this winter season having both claimed multiple tricolors and this week was no exception.
Kathy Chiaf and her own Sweetwater claimed the championship in the Adult Equitation 36 and over combined division with a first, and fourth place over fences, as well as a second place finish in the under saddle class. Chiaf and Sweetwater were also reserve champions in the Adult Hunter division.
Molly Gfroerer and Samantha Hurley’s Silver Icing were the reserve champions of the Children’s Hunter Pony combined division with first, second and third placings in the over fences classes and a second place finish in the under saddle class.
SBS Farms riders are gearing up for three weeks of competition at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show in Houston, Texas, and are sure to see success. Based out of Buffalo, New York, SBS Farms, Inc.’s Susie Schoellkopf and Jennifer Alfano run one of the foremost show hunter training operations in the country, and travel nationwide to compete in the most prestigious horse shows.
