Savonna Adell Captures Four Circuit Championship Tricolors During ESP Spring Series

Wellington, Fla. – April 27, 2018 – At just 12 years old, Savonna Adell is known for being a leading force in the pony and junior hunter ranks at some of the foremost shows throughout the United States. The young rider recently concluded an impressive winter season competing at the 2018 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), and has continued to frequent the winner’s circle during the ESP Spring Series at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, where her ponies claimed four circuit championship tricolors for their top performances over the last three weeks.

Adell kicked off her spring season earning top placings throughout the ESP Spring Series, where she ultimately captured the Medium Pony Hunter circuit championship with Laugh Out Loud and the reserve circuit championship title aboard Sportin Around. In April, Adell and Spellbound moved up to the Large Pony Hunters, proving they were ready for the challenge by claiming the division’s circuit championship. Little Brook Farms trainer, Kelsey Duffy, was also circuit champion in the USHJA 2’6″ Hunters with Mr. O, a 13-year-old Large Pony Hunter that Adell will begin showing later this year.

“All of my ponies have been amazing this month,” expressed Adell. “It was really exciting to move into the [Large Pony Hunters] with Spellbound and have it be so successful. My ponies were very consistent and they jumped beautifully every time they went in the ring. This was a great way to prepare for Devon and I can’t wait to head there next!”

During ESP Spring I, Adell earned the Medium Pony Hunter reserve championship aboard her own Laugh Out Loud as well as the Large Pony Hunter reserve championship with Spellbound. ESP Spring II saw Adell claim the reserve champion title in the Medium Pony Hunter division with Laugh Out Loud for the second consecutive week of the series. Adell also won the Pony Hunter Classic and placed third with her second mount, Blackout. In the Large Pony Hunters, Adell piloted Spellbound to the reserve tricolor during ESP Spring III after winning the handy round, earning second place in the model and fourth place undersaddle.

“We are so proud of Savonna,” said trainer Gary Duffy. “She has worked very hard to develop partnerships with each of her ponies and it’s really paying off. Earning a circuit championship is always exciting, but to earn four tricolors is really amazing and it is a testament to Savonna’s abilities in the saddle.”

Little Brook Farms is excited to close out the ESP Spring Series next week, while Adell is hoping to continue her winning ways before returning to the Northeast to compete at the prestigious Devon Horse Show in Devon, Pennsylvania.
