The HITS Saugerties Show Series debuts May 23, 2018 and will run over a period of eight weeks ending September 9, 2018.
The series is located at the picturesque HITS-On-The-Hudson venue which offers a stunning Catskill Mountains backdrop for the masses of equestrians from all over the country who flock to show there. With over $3 million in prize money, bi-weekly grand prix events, and qualifier events for the HITS Championship, the series is a prime location for equestrians looking to stay competitive in the summer season. Offering both USEF Premier and National-Rated Hunters as well as 5* and 6* jumper competition HITS Saugerties typically sees some of the best riders in the country making it a top priority in their show schedule.
Rood & Riddle in Saratoga is proud to be adding this unique show series to its diverse list of horse show venues across the country. Rood & Riddle in Saratoga was the first satellite location to open after the founding of the original Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital located in Lexington, KY in 1986. An esteemed list of veterinary professionals are available for appointment and on-call 24/7 at the facility. Rood & Riddle in Saratoga services include emergency surgical support, internal medicine, diagnostic imaging, podiatry, and much more. The state-of-the-art facility recently underwent expansion renovation to now include two surgical suites, three anesthesia induction and recovery stalls, nuclear scintigraphy, a radiology suite, a laboratory and an ambulatory garage. The hospital also boasts a four-stall temperature controlled nuclear scintigraphy building as well. The expansion has allowed the facility to increase medical staff and add to the already diverse set of services offered.
