Wellington, Fla. – March, 4 2017 – Spectators at the International Polo Club will have a special opportunity on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Professional polo player and Brooke USA Ambassador Nic Roldan will be hosting a meet and greet in the Coco Polo Lounge at the International Polo Club from 1:30 – 2:30pm to benefit Brooke USA.
For more than 80 years, Brooke has been providing sustainable solutions to enormous equine welfare challenges across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Last year alone, Brooke’s work reached 2 million equines, benefiting 12 million people in communities where many people earn less than a dollar a day.
This meet and greet with Nic Roldan and other Sunset Polo Players will continue to support the efforts of Brooke USA, as will Nic Roldan’s Sunset Polo & White Party, hosted by Katherine and Mark Bellissimo, held at The Wanderers Club on Friday, March 24, 2017
The meet and greet will include many exciting opportunities for individuals of all ages. Sunset Polo team players will be on hand to meet with fans, sign autographs, and take pictures.
Other special appearances will include miniature horses to greet spectators and collect donations for Brooke USA. Brooke USA will also present a photo exhibit showcasing Roldan’s trip to Guatemala with Brooke USA to see the work that Brooke does firsthand photographed by, Enrique Uraneta-Alamo. These powerful photographs highlight the important work that Brooke does on the ground in support of working equines.
