As two of the preeminent farms in Europe, ST Stables and Milestone Farm have combined their talents to offer interested horse buyers a chance – or, rather, 16 of them – to have a new equine partner to look forward to, something desperately needed during the trying time facing the competitive equestrian industry. Possessing prestigious bloodlines such as Indoctro, Cornet Obolensky, Baloubet du Rouet, Quidam de Revel and more, the horses have been meticulously chosen to create a curated catalog featuring stallions, geldings and mares ranging in age from 5 years old to 10 years old. Thirteen of the horses are young grand prix prospects, while two horses are hunters and one is a junior with 1.40m results. Each horse’s custom catalog page features a photo and video, plus information on its pedigree, temperament, abilities and show record, if applicable.
The starting price for each horse will be €20,000, with bids accepted beginning May 22 at 1 a.m. CEST (May 21 at 7 p.m. EDT) and closing 48 hours later. More than simply a horse sales platform, The Collection is striving for excellence in all areas, which is why the team behind the endeavor has pledged to facilitate transportation of the horses following the auction to anywhere in the world, will provide a health warranty as evidenced by blood tests and pre-purchase exams, and will even retain care of the horse at their expense if the border of the lucky new owner’s country is closed due to COVID-19.
