Devon, Pa. – March 22, 2019 – The organizers of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair are pleased to announce they are officially accepting applications for media credentials for the highly anticipated 2019 event. As always, the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair will feature top-notch competition, special events, exhibitions, shopping and more. The event will return this year from May 23-June 2 in Devon, Pennsylvania.
Any members of the media wishing to cover this action-packed event must apply and be approved for credentials beforehand. The deadline to submit an application for media credentials is May 16.

Applying for media credentials is simple. Visit the following web address at the button above and fill out the form completely. Once finished, click submit and you will be notified shortly as to whether your request has been accepted or denied.

Some of this year’s highlight events include the Devon Open Jumper section, which has expanded its prize money to $475,000 in possible earnings. The section will invite 30 talented open jumper athletes to showcase their skills in classes such as the $35,000 Main Line Challenge, the $35,000 Devon International Speed Stake, the $50,000 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake and the $72,000 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake. Celebrating its 41st year, the Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon will be the main event of the show and will generously offer $250,000 in prize money. With a FEI CSI4* ranking, athletes competing in any of these events will be eligible to acquire coveted world ranking points.
In addition, the Devon Horse Show is widely recognized for its world-class hunter competition and will once again be hosting a variety of hunter divisions all with a US Equestrian (USEF) Premier hunter rating. Some of the best hunter riders in the nation will vie for the top prize in the popular $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, sponsored by the Wheeler family, on Thursday, May 30.
Tables in the exclusive Devon Club are also available for purchase throughout Junior Weekend as well as during two special evening events. Starting at 6:30 p.m. during the Devon Arena Eventing showcase on Sunday, May 26, guests can purchase a table and enjoy top-notch arena eventing with a great view of all of the action as athletes gallop in and out of the famous Dixon Oval and the Wheeler Ring over cross-country and stadium jumps.
Show jumping enthusiasts can also purchase a table for the evening of Thursday, May 30, for the thrilling $250,000 Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon CSI4*, which is set to start at 8 p.m.
Both evenings will include access to a delicious buffet fully catered by Wild Blue Creative Catering, a top-shelf open bar and complimentary admission to the show for the evening.
