Mark Your Calendars for the 2019 Upperville Colt & Horse Show!

Upperville, Va. – Feb. 27, 2019 – Organizers of the historic Upperville Colt & Horse Show (UCHS) are pleased to announce the dates for this year’s highly anticipated event. The week-long competition will take place starting on Monday, June 3, through Sunday, June 9, at the Grafton and Salem Farms showgrounds in Upperville, Virginia, and will culminate with the highlight event, the Upperville Jumper Classic CSI4*, on the final day.

The UCHS attracts hundreds of world-class equestrians who compete in disciplines ranging from show jumping, hunters and equitation to local ponies, in-hand breeding, sidesaddle and racing Jack Russell Terriers. In addition to its FEI CSI4* designation, the competition also boasts a Premier “AA” and level six jumper rating with US Equestrian (USEF), the Virginia Horse Shows Association (VHSA) and the Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA) and is a World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) recognized show.

Class specifications, rules, awards, prize money distribution and a full schedule are coming soon in the 2019 prize list.

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend the 2019 UCHS! Entries open on April 1 and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Entries are logged when they are received NOT when they are postmarked. The 2018 UCHS was a complete sell-out so be sure to submit your entries as soon as possible starting on April 1 to avoid being shut out!

As the oldest horse show in the United States, spectators and exhibitors have been traveling to the heart of horse country in Upperville for decades for this can’t-miss event. The team is looking forward to celebrating the 166th anniversary of the show and is confident that this year’s event will be the best ever.
