Gladstone, N.J. – Nov. 28, 2017 – During the month of November each year, thousands of nonprofit organizations participate in a special day following Black Friday and Cyber Monday called Giving Tuesday. This #GivingTuesday, on Nov. 28, holiday shoppers can participate by donating to the United States Equestrian Team (USET) Foundation’s mission of supporting the competition, training, coaching, travel and educational needs of America’s elite and developing international and high performance horses and athletes. What better way to kick-off the holiday season than by supporting YOUR American equestrian team?!
Each year, the USET Foundation awards grants covering more than 50 percent of the high performance program budget. America’s equestrian athletes have distinguished themselves by winning 44 Olympic medals, 91 Pan American Games medals and 78 World Equestrian Games medals. However, your U.S. equestrian teams receive no government support or subsidies unlike many of the countries they compete against.
Thus, our riders, vaulters and drivers in all eight high performance disciplines are counting on you to help them reach the podium in 2018 and beyond! Shoppers may support the good work of the USET Foundation by donating online TODAY at www.USET.org/GivingTuesday. Your #GivingTuesday gift will be rushed into action in the weeks and months ahead, helping our U.S. athletes and horses ride to victory in the new year!
After submitting your donation, share the giving spirit with your friends and followers by downloading the complimentary attached “sticker” and making it your profile picture on social media.
Join others across the globe in celebrating generosity and giving back on this #GivingTuesday! The USET Foundation thanks you for standing with your team and for giving America’s world-class athletes and horses everything they need to win big in 2018!
