Wellington, Fla. – Dec. 18, 2019Phelps Media Group Inc. (PMG), the leading media agency in the equestrian industry, is actively seeking qualified candidates to join its existing team of marketing experts. The current available positions include a full-time Senior Account Executive, Graphic Designer, and Office Administrator.

 

 

Senior Account Executive

Ideal candidates for the Senior Account Executive position should possess solid knowledge of hunter/jumper or dressage disciplines. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in public relations, marketing, journalism, and client management skills.  Current knowledge of social media platforms is required. Additional skills in photography, videography, and design are highly desirable.

Candidates should demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, possess a strong work ethic and be a team player. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Account/Client Management
  • Designing, implementing and managing social media campaigns
  • Writing media releases and feature stories
  • Covering competitions and other events (including photography)
  • Preparing agendas, clippings, collateral for client meetings
  • Leading or participating in client meetings
  • Disseminating press releases, media alerts and calendar listings
  • Designing event invitations, posters, magazine covers, etc. for reprints

The position is based in Wellington, Florida, and requires extensive travel. PMG offers competitive salaries and benefits, dependent on experience and skills.

 

 

Graphic Designer

Ideal candidates for the Graphic Designer position should possess strong knowledge of all adobe design programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Candidates should also have experience in social media, public relations, and client management. Knowledge of hunter/jumper, polo and/or dressage discipline is ideal but not required.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop the overall layout and production design for website, advertisements, event invitations, logos, posters, magazine covers, and corporate reports.
  • Leading and participating in client meetings to ensure satisfaction
  • Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

Successful candidates must be very creative and able to work under tight deadlines. 

The position is based in Wellington, Florida, and may require some travel. PMG offers competitive salaries and benefits, dependent on experience and skills.

Office Administrator 

Ideal candidates for the Office Administrator position should possess knowledge of hunter/jumper, polo and/or dressage disciplines. Knowledge or experience in social media, public relations, and client management is ideal but not required.

This integral part of the Phelps Media Group team will perform all functions related to administrative assistance and day-to-day management of Phelps Media’s office suite.

Duties will include, but are not limited to 

  • Receiving calls and clients
  • Perform special research projects
  • Attend client/staff meetings to capture meeting minutes/notes
  • Coordinate special events and travel arrangements
  • Maintain contact with partners, account managers, staff and clients and may be asked to assist in the management of clients.
