One of America’s most exciting and long-running outdoor show jumping events, the prestigious American Gold Cup, returns to scenic Old Salem Farm in North Salem, NY on September 14-18, 2016. Celebrating over four decades of equestrian excellence, the Gold Cup is also celebrating its fifth year anniversary at beautiful Old Salem Farm. The forty plus year history of the American Gold Cup has seen stops in various locations, but none of the previous facilities have matched the popularity of the beautiful show grounds at Old Salem Farm. The 2016 American Gold Cup competition will play host to a number of important Longines FEI Rankings events, culminating with the prestigious $220,000 Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping New York, where the top riders will compete for the prestigious American Gold Cup. Also on the agenda, the $86,000 American Gold Cup Qualifier, the $86,000 Fidelity Investments Classic, the $35,000 Don Little Memorial Welcome Stake and the $35,000 Hermes Sellier Cup.
The American Gold Cup is one of only seven events that comprise the East Coast division of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League.
