Israeli Grand Prix Dressage Rider Micah Deligdish Joins Forces With GumBits

Wellington, Fla. – Sept. 23, 2019 – After years of seeing the positive results and benefits of GumBits on a variety of horses, Israeli Grand Prix dressage rider Micah Deligdish is proud to partner with GumBits as a brand ambassador. Founded in 2005, Gumbits are small, all-natural treats composed of a combination of beeswax and sugar that promote chewing activity, encourage submission, activate salivation and eliminate teeth grinding during training. The ‘chewing gum’ equine product includes only FDA-approved ingredients, ensuring its safe use for competition horses in any discipline, including FEI regulated shows.

“I have been using Gumbits in my training program for years and am a huge believer in them so I am thrilled to partner with a company that contributes strongly to my success,” Deligdish said. “My horses love them so much they practically bridle themselves. The product has made training more comfortable for them as it encourages them to relax their jaw and accept the bit. I found great success with Gumbits for my horse Santos who used to play with his bits, and now he enjoys chewing his Gumbits and relaxes through our entire ride.”

The founder of Gumbits, Shereen Fuqua, is a dressage competitor herself and equestrian entrepreneur was inspired to produce, manufacture, market and sell the high-quality product to horse owners of any discipline. Today, the training tool can be found in over thirty retailers in the United States, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, France, Finland and Italy. Gumbits is currently utilized by many of the world’s top Olympic and international competitors whose horses benefit from Gumbits with soft chewing, salivation and a better connection with the bit.
“GumBits is a favorite of many Olympic and international dressage riders and we are thrilled to add Micah to our list of ambassadors,” Fuqua stated.

Deligdish recently returned to the United States from her summer campaign throughout Europe, including qualifying and competing at the prestigious 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands. After earning a personal best at the New England Dressage Association’s Fall Festival CDI-W in Saugerties, New York, on Sept.18-22, Deligdish is excited to return to her base in Wellington, Florida, to train for the upcoming 2020 Adequan Global Dressage Festival.
