Interactive Mortgage Brings Equestrian Sport Back to Temecula Valley with Nilforushan Equisport Events

Temecula, Calif. – June 17, 2020 – The newly-announced Temecula Valley National Summer Series has already sold out thanks to the excitement of eager exhibitors, and participants can expect great sport at a quality venue as one of the first major horse shows to return to the competition calendar thanks to the presenting sponsor of the shows, Interactive Mortgage. Nilforushan Equisport Events (NEE) and Interactive Mortgage first partnered in 2019, and the two organizations have once again teamed up in order to enhance equestrian sport on the West Coast. For their next venture, the Temecula Valley National Summer Series, presented by Interactive Mortgage, will take place at Galway Downs from June 24-28 and June 30-July 4.

“We are so grateful to Gregg DeLong and his team at Interactive Mortgage for their ongoing support of our big ideas. We could not have put this show together without them, and we appreciate how fervently they share our vision of providing something meaningful for the equestrian community,” commented Ali Nilforushan of Nilforushan Equisport Events. “It is through active supporters such as Interactive Mortgage that our sport will continue to grow. We are looking forward to a great success in a few weeks thanks to their generosity, and our team at NEE can’t wait to work on more initiatives together in the future.”

During its debut year as a sponsor of NEE in 2019, Interactive Mortgage supported its namesake class series, the $7,500 Interactive Mortgage 10 & Under Futurity Classic. Over four weeks of competition, four different horse-and-rider pairs came out on top: Nikolaj Hein Ruus on Chili Pepper, John Pearce and Seven Seas, Michelle Parker with Chipotle and Sarah Invicta Williams-Echols aboard Converse Point. The series was a new addition to the Temecula Valley series that was meant to give younger horses the opportunity to gain valuable experience in grand prix style classes without over facing them.

Though COVID-19 unfortunately forced the cancellation of the planned Interactive Mortgage Developmental Series, which was scheduled to be held Apr. 9-11, DeLong had worked with the Nilforushans to develop the unrated weekend that would combine the feeling of competing at an A-rated horse show with the cost of competing at local horse shows. Thanks to the generosity of the title sponsor, Interactive Mortgage, exhibitors expected to keep more money in their pocket by only paying one flat rate that covers class entries and applicable fees. Exhibitors could experience a high-class facility with accommodations like top-notch footing and experienced course designers, allowing everyone in the industry the chance to gain experience in the show ring while catering to those who are not chasing points or qualifications.

Nikolaj Hein Ruus and Chili Pepper won the first-ever Interactive Mortgage class during the Temecula Valley National Horse Show in 2019.

Exhibitors and trainers who received stabling confirmation for either week of the horse show can begin to submit entries immediately by emailing entry blanks to entries@jump-nee.com or through ShowGroundsLive. After June 17, entries will be considered late. Interested vendors can find application forms in the prize list, as well, and the full COVID-19 safety protocol is also noted in the prize list.
