Berkshire, England – Oct. 18, 2019 – For the first time ever Horse & Country TV (H&C TV) will be live streaming a training demonstration from Linda Parelli, a distinguished natural horsemanship expert, on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. EST. Set to take place at Berkshire College of Agriculture in a rare UK demonstration, Parelli will share her philosophy of training and concepts on the psychology of horses.
Parelli’s natural approach to training has put her in high demand across the world to train and present her concepts of better horsemanship. Her exploration of a horse’s behavior is focused on bridging the gap between natural horsemanship and the foundations of the sport.
“You have to love horses, to want to be partners, to empower them, and to engage in a conversation rather than simply giving them instructions to follow,” said Parelli. “Some people think their techniques are important, but when you put the relationship first it impacts your feel and timing. Anyone can make a horse do something, but can you get them to want to do it?”
In order to answer the question of what make horses happy, Parelli will explain how important it is to understand the mind of the horse and its primary needs: safety, comfort and play. Although these needs may seem obvious, Parelli explains how people can utilize them to resolve tension, teach them to seek relief from pressure and to enjoy learning, resulting in horses that are happy, healthy, less stressed and more willing to work.
Tune in Saturday afternoon for the exclusive live stream demonstration as Parelli will cover the psychology of horses, how horses think, what is important to them, and how to apply psychology when training. Other topics she will discuss to audience members and subscribers to H&C TV are rider position, effectiveness in the saddle, strategies to accomplish goals, and horsenality.
The live streaming demonstration is a can’t miss opportunity for horse owners and riders of any level! Parelli’s teachings will help equestrians transform into leaders and horse psychologists that create happy horses without behavior problems. A happy horse tries harder, loves to learn, enjoys training, is healthier, and has a positive relationship with its rider. Block out your Saturday afternoon for this exciting educational opportunity.
