Kicking off the competition with good tidings, top Pony Club riders will team up with international riders for a thrilling relay race, the Aztec Diamond Pony Club Mini-Major Santa Stakes on Wednesday, December 18 at 7:40 a.m. EST. The action will continue with the Musto Inside Edge Stakes speed class, followed by an Olympic classic, the Cayenne Puissance! The Puissance wall, also known as the “big red wall”, is put up higher each round with only horses who clear each round moving on to the next. The highest jumping competitor rides away with the win! On Dasher! On Dancer! On Prancer and Vixen! Tune in on Thursday, December 19 at 7:40 a.m. EST to watch a team of four horses and one driver drive a carriage through the challenging obstacles of the Extreme Driving class supported by Karen and Hugh Scott-Barrett. Showjumping action will return to the arena for Snowflake Stakes, a thrilling speed class, before the Lemieux Christmas Stocking Six Bar at 1:25 p.m. EST. The day of festivities will conclude with a jump off class in the form of the Champagne-Taittinger Ivy Stakes!
Rejoice the end of the work week with world-class showjumping competition available on Horse & Country TV! Around 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, December 20, subscribers will be able to view exclusive coverage of the Father Christmas Stakes. The accumulator format class will feature top athletes as they try to jump their way onto the nice-list by accumulating the most amount of points for leaving fences up, including a joker fence, which is the highest and carries the highest point value. The Longines Christmas Cracker class will wrap up the day’s coverage as leading riders with no faults advance to a head-to-head jump off against the clock.
On Saturday, December 21, the excitement will return at 7:10 a.m. ESTwith the Voltaire Design Mice Pice Stakes, a showjumping class for ponies and junior riders jumping up to 1.30m. The Christmas Tree Stakes will follow in the line-up with talented athletes and horses hoping to shine the brightest and end up atop the podium!
Wrap up the week with the most action-packed day of the livestream on Sunday, December 22! The morning will begin with the Equine Rescue Services Mini Stakesat 7:25 a.m. EST. Next on the livestream agenda is the Turkish Airlines Speed Stakes, followed by the Voltaire Design Under 25 British Championship at approximately 1:00 p.m. EST. The London International Horse Show will culminate with the Turkish Airlines Olympia Grand Prix, the highlight event of the week where horses and riders will show their best over a 1.60m fence track!
