Wellington, Fla. – June 7, 2019 – The famous Upperville Colt & Horse Show (UCHS), presented by St. Bride’s Farm, is the oldest and longest running horse show in the United States. This year’s event, celebrating its 166th anniversary, is officially underway, with FEI competition kicking off on Friday and running through Sunday, June 9, culminating with the highly anticipated $208,200 Upperville Jumper Classic CSI4*, presented by Lugano Diamonds, at 2:30 p.m. EST.

The UCHS attracts hundreds of world-class equestrians who compete in disciplines ranging from show jumping, hunters and equitation to local ponies, in-hand breeding, sidesaddle and racing Jack Russell Terriers. In addition to its FEI CSI4* designation, the competition also boasts a Premier “AA” and level six jumper rating with US Equestrian (USEF), the Virginia Horse Shows Association (VHSA) and the Maryland Horse Shows Association (MHSA) and is a World Championship Hunter Rider (WCHR) recognized show.
Held in picturesque Upperville, Virginia, under the oaks, this iconic seven-day event has been highly regarded as a boutique attraction and a fixture on the schedules of Virginia locals as well as world-class equestrians since its founding in 1853.
