Tampa, Fla. – Dec. 28, 2016 – The Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit kicked off on a record setting pace posting nearly 1800 entries across all divisions, 500 more than in 2015, at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds on Wednesday. Opening day featured American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) hunter and trail classes. Thursday’s classes include showmanship, halter, under saddle, reining and western riding classes.
The Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit earned the distinction of being named one of the top 15 American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) shows for 2015. This year promises to be even better with many of the Nation’s top Quarter Horses and riders entered.
