Tampa, FL – January 2, 2017 – The Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit ended its season with a sensational event at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds. Managed by Mark Harrell Horse Shows, top Quarter Horses and exhibitors came from Maine to California, many for the first time, to compete in this renowned event December 28-31, 2016.
The four-day show was highlighted by beautiful weather at a superb facility and offered competitors the opportunity to earn year-end points as well as phenomenal awards. The lucky High Point winners received an extremely popular $1500 scooter or a zero gravity air chair.
In 2015, the Florida Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit earned the distinction of being named one of the top 15 American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) shows posting 7,563 entries. This year that number increased substantially recording 11,223 entries across all divisions and all judges.
