Darien, Conn. – May 7, 2019 – Entries close this Friday, May 10 for the 2019 Annual Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show presented by The Lindsay Maxwell Charitable Fund, June 11-16 at the Ox Ridge Riding and Racquet Club. Celebrating its 88th year, the Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show is a premier horse show destination and offers a wide variety of hunter, jumper and equitation classes.
Competition begins Tuesday, June 11 and will feature a $5000 1.40 Welcome Stake sponsored by BMW of Darien, a $5000 National Hunter Derby, $1500 1.40 Open Speed class sponsored by The Tech Equestrian, a $5000 1.25 Jumper Classic sponsored by Darien Grille and will culminate with the $50,000 Ox Ridge Grand Prix. In addition, the show will host an array of special events beginning Thursday, June 13 with the Farm Vet Welcome Class Party, a Derby Party on Friday, a Father’s Day Brunch on Saturday, and Sunday will close out with an Ice Cream Social, sponsored by Pegasus Therapeutic Riding.
The Ox Ridge Charity Horse Show is a USEF 4* National event and was recently designated as a US Equestrian Heritage Competition. This historical horse show is a mix of tradition and competition that exhibitors and spectators are sure to enjoy. Please submit your entries by this Friday, May 10 to be a part of the history!
