Don’t Miss Horse & Country’s On-Demand Coverage of Two USHJA Gold Star Clinics

Wellington, Fla. – Jan. 23, 2020 – Horse & Country (H&C) is proud to provide on-demand footage of both USHJA Gold Star Clinics. Exclusive to riders selected for the USHJA Emerging Jumper Rider Program, the first clinic took place in Thermal, California, Jan. 16-19, while the second clinic will be Jan. 23-26 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

If you are unable to attend the clinics in person or would prefer to learn top tips from jumping clinicians from the comfort of your home, the multi-day educational videos are available to the public. Youth riders for both clinics are invited to participate in the prestigious clinic series based on their performance during the various USHJA Zone Jumper Team Championships that take place throughout the year across the U.S.. In addition to mounted flat, gymnastics and coursework sessions, each clinic  focuses on educating riders to become more well-rounded horsemen with skills such as sporthorse management, media training and course building.
Hosted at the Desert International Horse Park in Thermal, California, the first clinic was taught by U.S. Nations Cup and FEI World Cup Final veteran Kirsten Coe. The lessons kicked off Thursday, Jan. 16 with mounted sessions continuing through to Sunday, Jan. 19.

Only minutes away from the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida, the second clinic of the series will be held this week at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center from Thursday, Jan. 23 to Sunday, Jan. 26. Todd Minikus, one of the top riders for the U.S. with over 44 international Grand Prix wins, will coach the 22 selected riders during the four-day clinic.
On-demand coverage of the USHJA Gold Star East Coast Clinic will be uploaded at the end of each day of the clinic and will be found HERE when available.
