West Grove, Pa. – April 3, 2017 – Cherry Knoll Farm is pleased to present 12 exceptional quality heifers and 12 embryo packages in their exciting spring online sale. The 2017 spring sale will be hosted by AngusLive.com on Monday, April 10. Elite cattle bloodlines included in this sale will include Elsa, Elisha, Rosebud and a collection of other premier lines. The high-quality heifers offered are reflective of Cherry Knoll Farm’s commitment to top-notch genetics in their exclusively bred herd.

“We have some of the most striking and promising heifers you will find in the industry,” said Tim Fitzgerald, Cherry Knoll Farm’s cattle manager. “This is an auction with premier bloodlines you absolutely do not want to miss!”

Lot 1

One of the highlights of the auction will be the sale of a half interest of Cherry Knoll Elsa 1676, out of Elsa of Conanga 868 1112 and sired by PVF Insight 0129. She is a maternal sister to Cherry Knoll Elsa 8014, the 2010 National Western Grand Champion Female and 2009-2010 Show Heifer of the Year.

“This Insight daughter is as functional moving, big footed, and powerful as you will see all spring,” Fitzgerald explained.  “The best thing about this female is the potential donor power that just explodes out of her!  Look at this one hard if you are willing to purchase a female with as much winning and donor power as her sister possesses.”

Another half interest sale highlight of the 2017 Spring Online Auction is Lot 2, Cherry Knoll May 1672, out of HCA May 85 and sired by Sav Brilliance 8077. Her maternal sister, OHL Dixie Chick 61D, was recently named the Supreme Champion Female at the 2017 Nebraska Cattleman’s Classic. She is one of the most stunning females you will see all spring. So sweet fronted and shouldered, just like her attitude, but has the body and fleshing ability that is special.

A sale of half interest of Lot 3, Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1686, is also one not to miss out on! Out of Cherry Knoll LSC Rosebud 401 and sired by WK Uptown. Her dam, a successful competitor herself being Reserve Grand Champion Female at the National Junior Angus Heifer Show, has produced many winning offspring. A few maternal sisters are Cherry Knoll Rosebud 816, who was titled 2009 Naile Grand Champion Female, and Cherry Knoll Rosebud 1572, who was 2016 Kile Grand Champion Female. She will be as competitive as her siblings and will have the donor power to produce like her mother.
