London, U.K. – Sept. 6, 2018 – The next installments of Horse & Country TV (H&C TV)’s popular Barn Talk and Masterclass USA series is set to premiere Saturday, Sept. 8, at 9 p.m. EST and 9:30 p.m. EST, respectively. Following the series’ successful U.S. debut featuring Olympic gold medalist Laura Kraut and international show jumper Georgina Bloomberg, this month’s episodes will delve into the world of three-day eventing with international event athlete and Olympic hopeful Liz Halliday-Sharp.
In addition to representing the U.S. at top events around the world, up to the CCI4* level, Halliday-Sharp is also a professional race car driver as well as a TV broadcaster and presenter.
After many years of juggling competing in both sports, Halliday-Sharp, who is originally from California, is now focused on eventing and hopes to represent the USA at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
In her Barn Talk episode, Halliday-Sharp gives H&C TV a tour of her beautiful U.K. facility, where she is primarily based throughout the year, and introduces us to her top horses including Deniro Z, who she is aiming at Tokyo. We also find out more about why she decided to give up motor racing and focus on eventing full time.
In Masterclass USA, Halliday-Sharp demonstrates how to train horses at different levels over skinny fences. She starts with a green 6-year-old before bringing out her top horse, Fernhill By Night.
