The event, commonly referred to as the “World’s Greatest Polo Party”, will be held on Saturday November 5, 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and host to the top ranked polo teams from around the globe.
The 2016 Molina Cup is the feature event of the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championship: Horses and Horsepower. This year, the Palm Beach Polo Club’s team will challenge the returning champions, the Aspen Valley Polo Club, for the coveted award. Again this year, the Aspen Polo Club, with polo superstar, Nic Roldan, as a member of its powerhouse lineup, comes into the competition following a successful summer season at its home club in Aspen, Colorado.

The Best Playing Pony award is presented to the polo pony that best exemplifies the look and athleticism necessary to be competitive on the polo field. The winner of this award during the Molina Cup will be presented with a custom trophy, designed by American Equus, as well as a beautiful custom horse blanket.
