Zionsville, IN – August 6, 2012 – The much-anticipated Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show (TPHCHS) is set to start tomorrow, Tuesday August 7 and will run through Sunday, August 12, 2012. A favorite summer destination show, TPHCHS will offer classes for riders of all experience levels, including several prestigious championships and Grand Prix opportunities.
The $30,000 Mr. & Mrs. Russell Fortune, Jr. Memorial Grand Prix will take place Friday, August 10, 2012 at 5 pm. The event is open to all horses, and the height will be set at 1.50 meters, testing riders and horses alike in preparation for the $60,000 Grand Prix of Indianapolis to be held Sunday, August 12 at 2 pm.
As a member of the USHJA World Championship Hunter Rider Program, TPHCHS offers top hunter classes that will help riders earn points toward year-end awards. The main hunter highlight of TPHCHS is the long-awaited $15,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. The event will count as a qualifying event for the $100,000 2013 USHJA International Hunter Derby Finals and will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2 pm.
