Based in Kent, England, Staff Sergeant Simon Stafford has served in the British Army for over 25 years. Currently a member of the Band of the Corps of Royal Engineers, Stafford has visited numerous countries including Iraq, Bosnia, Cyprus, Northern Ireland, Australia, Canada, the United States, and most of Europe, and will soon be deployed to Afghanistan in May as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Stafford has performed for every member of the Royal family, including the Queen Mother and Princess Diana before their deaths. He will also be part of the Olympic festivities, and has recently inspected several of the Olympic sport venues in London.
