Californian Marnye Langer Joins the Staff of Phelps Media Group
Wellington, Fl – May 20 – The Phelps Media Group, Inc., an equestrian related public relations firm based in Wellington, Florida, announced today that California horsewoman Marnye Langer has joined the staff as a freelance writer.
Langer has been involved in the equestrian industry for most of her life. She is the current Vice President and CFO/Treasurer of Langer Equestrian Group, Inc. The company produces and manages over 30 equestrian competitions annually. In addition, the company has interests in other key aspects of the equestrian industry, including Granite Bay Saddlery and Scoreboards West.
Langer, a graduate of the University of California, is a five time National Equestrian Journalism Award winner and the best selling author of the book, The Tevis Cup: To Finish is to Win. She’s a past Executive Director of the California Professional Horseman’s Association and was the Director of Communications for the National Hunter/Jumper Council. Langer’s work has appeared in The Chronicle of the Horse, Dressage Equestrian Magazine, Horse International, Horse Show, Practical Horseman, Riding Magazine and Show Circuit. She is also the West Coast Correspondent for Towerheads.com
