Devon, PA – February 9, 2012 –The Brandywine Valley Summer Series is pleased to announce that vendor space is now available on the Devon Show Grounds during their two-week equestrian event. In 2011, the annual hunter/jumper show was named the Pennsylvania Horse Show Association’s “Horse Show of the Year,” featuring the country’s best hunter, jumper, and equitation horse and riders. Scheduled for June 28-July 2, 2012 and July 4-July 8, 2012, this year’s additional highlights will include the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby on Sunday, July 1, 2012, and week two’s designation as a WCHR Member Event.
“Becoming a vendor at the Brandywine Valley Summer Series gives vendors an opportunity to showcase their wares at the Devon Show Grounds, and touch a client base that they may not normally reach,” explained Vendor Chairman Blair Balmer. “This year, we are part of the WCHR and the USHJA International Hunter Derby Series, which is going to bring in new clientele that we did not have last year.”
The Brandywine Valley Summer Series is preparing to increase in size during 2012, regarding both exhibitors and spectatorship. “Even though we had a wonderful inaugural year in 2011, we have expanded our media coverage for 2012. We are looking forward to the increase in local spectators and exhibitors from around the tri-state area. Like last year admission and parking will continue to be free," commented Balmer.
Applications for vendor spaces will be accepted until March 30, 2012, but the sooner that the application is submitted the sooner Balmer can register a vendor’s booth space. All of the information that is needed such as dates, times, and a map, are located on the Brandywine Valley Summer Series website: http://brandywinevalleysummerseries.com. Interested parties may also contact Balmer directly by emailing blair.balmer@gmail.com.
