Wellington, FL – February 7, 2012 – Mason Phelps Radio’s fifth segment will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. EST on W4CY.com. Media Personality Steve Williams will be co-hosting along side Phelps once again, and this week will feature Michael Taylor, Bill Weeks Ruth Menor and Tuny Page as guests. Phelps and Williams along with their guests look forward to discussing equine insurance and the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center’s upcoming “Our Super Heroes” Auction and Dinner. With the expertise of the panel, the show is sure to provide information on subjects ranging from the world of having insurance for your horse to the countless miracles Vinceremos has witnessed over the past 30 years.

One of the guests this week will be Michael Taylor, one of the founders of Taylor Harris Insurance Services (THIS), which specializes in equine insurance. Taylor founded the company in 1987 and today THIS has grown to be a prominent sponsor of numerous equine events throughout the United States.

“I’m excited to be working with Mason Phelps,” said Taylor. “I am planning on discussing the ins and outs of insurance for horse owners and the benefits of having equine insurance. It’s not the most exciting topic in the world, but it is certainly an important topic.”

Previously, Taylor was President of Fasig-Tipton Livestock Underwriters (FTLU), which he joined in 1975 when FTLU was the leading equine insurer in the United States. Before coming to the United States, Michael spent six years at Lloyds of London brokering re-insurance business after serving as an Officer in the British Army. Additionally, in 1995 Michael founded Taylor St. Aubyn, now Lumley St. Aubyn, an English-based insurance agency specializing in unique properties.

The second guest of the week is Bill Weeks, Director and Chairman at THIS. Weeks is the owner of Sasco Creek Farm based in Southport, CT and Wellington, FL. Sasco Creek Farm is the home of the Grand Prix mount Madison, a two-time American Grand Prix Association Horse of the Year. Weeks also serves on the Board of Trustees for the United States Equestrian Team Foundation, and as Director of the Alltech National Horse Show

Ruth Menor, Executive Director of the Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Program, will join Mason Phelps Radio this week to discuss the benefit dinner and auction occurring this Friday, February 10. “This is our 25th Auction and Dinner, but also Vinceremos’ 30th anniversary,” Menor explained. “I am thrilled to join Mason this week to talk about what Vinceremos has accomplished throughout the years leading up to this milestone, as well as the amazing amount of excitement and anticipation this event will hold for everyone. We have the most phenomenal live auction items we have ever had, and we have just received incredible support from our sponsors and the community!”

The VTRC’s Chairwoman Tuny Page will also join the panel this week to continue the discussion of the dinner and auction. Page is known not only for the generous support she has provided to the VTRC, but also for her numerous accolades as an international dressage rider. “To be honest, I am looking forward to talking about Vinceremos, Vinceremos, Vinceremos and more Vinceremos,” Page exclaimed. “By far, we have the best line-up of incredible donations from local, national and international sponsors. These are items that cannot be found anywhere else. I can’ t wait to speak to Mason and his listeners about the phenomenal items we have in store.”
