Blainville, Quebec – July 12, 2010 – The second week of the Classique Internationale De Blainville (Jumping Blainville) begins Wednesday and will run through Sunday, July 18, 2010. Jumping Blainville is an exciting hunter/jumper competition held at the world-class Equestrian Park of Blainville.

Canada’s top hunter and jumper riders have traveled to the Equestrian Park of Blainville for this world-class event. The exciting classes will kicking-off with the $32,000 Open FEI Jumper class on Friday, July 16, 2010. The jumper action will continue on Saturday, July 17, 2010, with the $15,000 Speed Derby. The next day riders will have two more opportunities to compete for top prize money, beginning with the $5,000 Gamblers Choice. The final event at Jumping Blainville will be the $60,000 World Cup Qualifier, where the nation’s top athletes will compete for points to show at the 2011 FEI World Cup Finals in Leipzig, Germany.
The Concours d'Élégance Le Mirage is a unique charity vocation in Canada. It was created in 2009 by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jacques Dion, who is also Chief Executive of the Andre-Delambre Foundation for which the founds will be collected. This second annual event will be held over three days, July 16- 18, 2010 compared to last year's one-day event.
This event is organized to raise money for the André-Delambre Foundation, presided over by René Angelil, which supports the University Researchs on SLA (the Lou Gehrig disease). This work is done by a world known researcher, Dr Jean-Pierre Julien from the CHUQ in Quebec. This innovative program combined with Jumping Blainville’s events on Sunday July 18, which supports the same cause the SLA disease, is a first of a kind in the world and is a philanthropic model.

At 1025 chemin du Plan Bouchard, Blainville, the Equestrian park of Blainville is open to children 12 and under for free. The fee for adults is $8.
On Sunday July 18th, le concours d'Élégance Le Mirage, for the foundation of Andre Delambre, president Rene Angelil, under the theme of Beauty and the Beast, will be hosting a concours with 120 selected antic collection cars where one of them will be named the car of the year. Entry fee $15 for both car and horse event.
The Grand Prix ring features and all weather footing of 350'x 400'. The annex sand ring measures 230' x 150', while the two hunter sand rings are 165' x 275' and 140' x 275'. Both hunter rings are equipped with sophisticated sprinkler systems that assures uniform ground moisture conditions and become on Sundays, one ring for the Hunter Classic class.
A blacksmith's pavilion, boutiques, restaurant and restrooms are less than 500 feet from the main stabling.
