Carson City, NV– May 12, 2010 – The $25,000 Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby scheduled for September 19, 2010 in Carson City, Nevada, will feature event décor by Red Carpet Events and Design. Owners Julie Nobis and Karen Nichols will bring ten years of a unique blend of services in event décor as well as meeting and event planning to this unique hunter derby.
Over the next four months Red Carpet Events and Design will work collectively with Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby. They will secure vendor partners, event décor, and overall operational planning to create an event that will make this event an annual celebration everyone will look forward to.

Nichols and Nobis became involved with the Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby after being introduced to Lynne Garnett and Aimee Lafayette of Franktown Meadows Equestrian Center by Robin Brockelsby. Robin is one of the owners of Creative Coverings, a national specialty linen rental company based in the Reno-Tahoe area. Creative Coverings is one of the vendors involved in the Derby that will be providing fabulous linens used in the guest seating areas at the Franktown Derby.

The $25,000 Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby Fast Facts
EVENT: The Franktown Meadows Hunter Derby will be the first standalone hunter derby on the west coast. The derby will be a member event of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) International Hunter Derby Series. This charitable event benefits the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that aids the Northern Nevada area.
