JT Farm’s Triple X and Jimmy Toon Win Another Hunter Tricolor at CN Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL - March 25, 2008 - JT Farm and trainer Jimmy Toon competed and won again this past week at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival. Based out of South Salem, NY, and Wellington, FL, JT Farm has had a very successful winter circuit so far.
The success continued this week for Toon and Triple X, a 7-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by JT Farm and Lyn Pederson. They received the reserve championship in the Green Conformation Hunters. They were second in the model class, sixth under saddle, and first, second, second, and third over fences for the tricolor.
Brianne Link of East Islip, NY, continued her winning streak, this time in the Equitation 11 & Under division. The 9-year-old won all three classes in the division and she picked up ribbons in the Medium Children’s Pony Hunters on Asgard Mercury and in the Large Children’s Hunter Pony Hunters on Foxcroft Veronsky. On her new pony Tallyman, Link was champion in the Pony Jumpers.
Ellen Toon and Attache, last year’s Amateur-Owner Over 35 Circuit Champions, won a class in their division this week. They also received second, fourth, fourth, and sixth place ribbons. Jimmy Toon and Tayfoon received top ribbons in the First Year Green Hunters.
Carolyn Lichtenberg of Pelham Manor, NY, and her jumper Kendy were fourth in the $1,000 Modified Children’s Jumper Time First Jump-off class and fifth in the Time First Round class. Katie Galbraith of Darien, CT, rode Latino to second place in the $1,500 Low Junior Jumper Time First Round class out of 42 entries. She and Spock also picked up eighth place in the WIHS Equitation Classic hunter phase. Sophie Benjamin and JT Farm’s Cayero finished second in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search class.
JT Farm will compete next at week eleven of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival on March 26-30.
