Wellington, FL – November 26, 2007 –The Humane Equine Aid and Rapid Transport (HEART) Equine Ambulance will host its third fundraiser, a 50s sock hop, on Friday, Feb. 15, 2007, at Acorn Hill Farm in Wellington, FL.

Led by organization president and grand prix rider Robin Sweely, HEART is a non-profit organization that services horse shows and the equestrian community with an equine ambulance in case of an emergency or accident. The event will include high-end raffle items, dinner, dancing and more.

“Our goal is to continue to raise funds to support operating expenses of the ambulance, improve and maintain our existing equipment as new technology becomes available, and expand our coverage to guarantee care can be provided at more equestrian events,” Sweely said. “We would like to see that an equine ambulance is a mandatory item at any showground or event.”
