Volunteer Roundup at Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center Proves Successful
Loxahatchee, FL- September 3, 2010 - The Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center (VTRC) hosted the first Vinceremos Volunteer Roundup last Friday on August 28, 2010. The event will be held from 6-8p.m. and was attended by over 60 current and interested volunteers.
In addition to a new volunteer sign up station, the Vinceremos Volunteer Roundup gave volunteers the opportunity to meet the new barn manager, play some minute to win it barn games, and win prizes. Everyone enjoyed the games, and the while the carrot toss proved to be a challenge for some the winning team caught 22 carrots in a feed bucket!
This successful event has filled the Friday and Saturday volunteer needs, however VTRC still has multiple openings Monday – Thursday from 3pm - 6pm. Volunteers assist with barn chores and lessons throughout the day. There are over 100 volunteers and each day about 20 volunteers are on site. The Center currently serves clients Monday through Saturday.
The Fall Session at VTRC will be getting underway next week on September 7, 2010. The Center is excited to see all of its riders after the summer break and the horses have are ready to get back to work and see their favorite ride...
